On the day of the BIG POUR (29 Sept 2011), the forms and rebar for the main slab of the platform are readied.
A bulkhead is built at the top of the staircase to keep the platform concrete in place while it sets.
Some of the rebar protrudes through the bulkhead to tie to the stairs which will be poured later.
The vertical stubs of rebar at the bottom of the stairs (foreground) will tie that footing to the stairs also.
